An annual fixture for more than 50 years at West Kirby Marine Lake, the colourful Wilson Trophy is one of the best team racing events in the world.

The crews race in identical boats provided by the West Kirby Sailing Club, giving spectators the chance to see each team’s skill pitted directly against the opposition.

Flying vividly coloured sails on Firefly boats and competing over a weekend, the crews display their skills, tactics and above all, team spirit.
