Hilbre Point
The sandstone of Hilbre Point is the same as the sandstone on Hilbre Island. It too has been moulded and shaped by the winds and tides of the River Dee, but at Hilbre Point, there are more rock pools and hidden crevices for the wildlife to take refuge.
