Fraisthorpe Defences
At the end of hostilities, the huge anti-tank concrete cubes and defences placed on several beaches along the east cost during World War II were never removed. Slowly nature has started to reclaim the beach, but one wonders if these defences intended to keep out invading troops have paid their part in protecting this vulnerable coast from erosion
