Birkenhead Park is an oasis of nature within the hub of activity of industrial Wirral. With a heavy winter frost, the peace and quiet of the park is even more pronounced, and yet it is fleeting. The first rays of sun which play on the tree tops in this photography, melted the frost within an hour.
